Cartridge Innovation has been serving the printing needs of businesses and individuals in the Bay Area since 2005. We are conveniently located in San Francisco within the vibrant Lakeshore Plaza, near San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Zoo.

Owners Chun Kung and Helena Gin both have extensive experience in the high tech industry and are advocates for recycling and preserving the environment. Between them, they have held various engineering, management, and teaching positions at companies and educational institutions including HP, Legato Systems, EMC, Quickstart, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, Stanford University, San Francisco State University, and Mills College. With their industry experience, they are able to offer expert advice and service.

1. Will using a remanufactured cartridge void the warranty to my printer?

No, the owner of a printer cannot be forced to use only the OEM's brand of supplies as this would be a violation of the Sherman-Clayton Antitrust Act.

2. What is the difference between a "refilled" and a "remanufactured" cartridge?

The difference is quality. A "refilled" cartridge is simply a cartridge that has been refilled with ink or toner (commonly known as "drill and fill"). A "remanufactured" cartridge is a cartridge that has been thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt with new parts under strict laboratory conditions. Our cartridges are remanufactured to ensure the highest quality available.

3. What warranty/guarantee do you provide for your products?

We warrant our products to be free of defects in material and workmanship. If a cartridge is defective, it can be returned for a replacement or a full refund within 90 days from the date of purchase.

4. Do you charge for shipping and handling?

If you purchase $100 or more, we offer free delivery. If your order is under $100, we charge a standard delivery fee of $8.00.
